TV company TMB that responsible for the organisation of the “Turkvision” Song Contest has published a post where hint to Shusha (cultural capital of Azerbaijan) as a possible host city for 2021.
“Hope So” wrote an official account of TMB under the post with logo of “Turkvision” and name of Shusha city.
Azerbaijani people were so glad to hear this and expressed their support to this idea.
Turkvision Song Contest, also known as Türkvizyon Song Contest, was an annual song contest created by Turkish music channel TMB TV, inspired by the format of the Eurovision Song Contest. The first edition took place in Eskişehir, Turkey. The semi-final was held on 19 December 2013, with the grand final taking place on 21 December 2013. Countries and regions which were Turkic-speaking and of Turkic ethnicity were eligible to participate in the song contest. The contest was last held on 19 December 2015, and has not been held since, although the planned Turkvision Song Contest 2020 was launched in October 2020 and is expected to be held as an online event hosted from Istanbul, Turkey in December 2020.
