Arilena Ara won the previous edition of the competition with the song “Shaj” which later was transformed into “Fall From The Sky”. The singer was due to represent the country at “Eurovision 2020”. She didn’t enter the participants of the festival this year which means we won’t see her as the representative of Albania in Rotterdam.
Earlier it was also announced that “Festival I Këngës” will be held in open air arena near Italia Square in Tirana due to COVID-19 restrictions at some point between 17 and 26 of December.
