The winner of “Eesti Laul 2020”, Uku Suviste that was due to represent Estonia at the “Eurovision” same year, has started preparations for the 2021’s contest. Corresponded announcement was made by EurovisionFun.
As the portal reports Uku works with “Dream Team” and Philipp Kirkorov once again. The song is already written by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Sharon Vaughn.
Uku Suviste was supposed to travel to Athens in order to record the song but that was impossible due to pandemic restrictions. That’s why the singer is recording his song in Estonia distantly thanks to nowadays technologies. It is worth mentioning that Victoria Chalkiti is the vocal coach, as she will be a vocal coach with Natalia Gordienko as well.
Team of EurovisionFun that had a chance to listen to the song describes Uku’s new entry as something totally different from his previous one. They describe it as a mid tempo song, a completely radiofriendly track, while its lyrics are about a social problem of our ages.
Let us remind that Uku got an opportunity to participate directly in semi-finals. Previously, this month ERT has started songs submission with November, 6 as the last day. Two semi-finals’ all participants will be announced on December, 5 with the Grand Final takes place on March, 6. Two semi-finals will take place on February, 18 and 20.
