Albanian popstar Arilena Ara that supposed to represent her country at “Eurovision 2020” has spoken about the upcoming contest.
It was just a few days after she released the final version of her “Eurovision 2020” entry that the contest got cancelled due to the pandemic. And we haven’t heard much from her since that. Finally, yesterday, she gave an interview to one of the local TV programs where she clarified her thoughts about the future contest:
“One thing is for sure. “Eurovision 2021” will happen anyway, with or without our national final/festival and with or without me.” – said the singer.
This statement raises some questions about her possible return to the “Festivali i Këngës”. Is that a hint that the singer will try her chances again? Or she will stay away this time?
Anyway, a few weeks ago broadcaster of Albania has confirmed that the next edition of “Festivali i Këngës” will take place in December as it always was. It was also confirmed that the winner of this festival will represent the country at “Eurovision 2021”.
What do you think? Will we see Arilena as country’s representative for the second time in a row?
